Social responsibility

Believing that each industrial establishment should respect nature, Yılsan takes rigorous measures for environment protection in all of its facilities. Furthermore, conservation of natural vegetation and longevity of wildlife is one of our key concerns.

As a part of our afforestation and landscaping efforts in our investment sites, we have planted more than 75 thousand trees that suit the local flora, such as olive, pomegranate and cedar. We work in close cooperation with public organizations and NGOs in order to minimize the local environmental impact of our investments.

As one of the first private investors in the Turkish energy market, we make a huge contribution to the national economy by generating 500 million kWh of renewable energy. Our power stations have Gold Leed and Leed certificates, showing the respect we have for nature and the people living in the regions where we operate.
